CNN Loses Ed Henry to Fox News

Senior White House correspondent second to make the jump this year

CNN's Senior White House correspondent Ed Henry is leaving the network to take a job at Fox News.

Henry discussed the move in an email to his CNN colleagues, writing, "After seven years at CNN, it is bittersweet for me to say I’ve landed a terrific opportunity elsewhere that I am absolutely thrilled about."

According to Deadline.com, which broke the story, Henry will take over as chief White House correspondent at Fox, replacing correspondents Mike Emanuel and Wendell Goler—both of whom are being promoted.

Henry is the second big-name reporter to leave CNN for Fox News this year.
