Roy Laughlin, a veteran Los Angeles radio operator, was named senior vp and market manager for CBS Radio’s seven stations in Los Angeles. Laughlin, best known for his eight years as co-market manager for Clear Channel’s stations and online properties in Los Angeles, will begin his new position Sept. 2 reporting to Dan Mason, president and CEO for CBS Radio.
Laughlin replaces Jeff Federman, who exited the company this week.
In his new role, Laughlin will oversee KCBS-FM, KNX-AM, KFWB-AM, KLSX-FM, KROQ-FM, KRTH-FM and KTWV-FM.
“Roy is a creative thinker who knows the radio business from the ground up and I couldn’t be happier to have him on our team,” Mason said.
