Caitlyn Jenner’s New TV Show Will Be Called ‘I Am Cait’

The 8-epsiode E! docuseries premieres July 26

Two days after she said "Call me Caitlyn," Caitlyn Jenner has a new proclamation: I Am Cait.

That's the name of her upcoming E! docuseries, which will debut July 26 at 9 p.m. The network announced the title today and also released the show's first promo, which shows Caitlyn—formerly Bruce Jenner—talking about the pressures women are under about their appearance and about finally venturing "out into the world." She later proclaims, "I'm the new normal."

E! says I Am Cait will show Jenner living her life as a transgender woman and seeking out her "new normal," while also looking at how her transition has affected the people in her life.

The E! news and promo caps a huge week for Jenner. On Monday she debuted her July 2015 Vanity Fair cover, then racked up a million Twitter followers faster than President Barack Obama did. She'll also be receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at next month's ESPYS, which will air on ABC.

All her children from three marriages will be at the ESPYS, but they will not be taking part in the E! series. Vanity Fair writer Buzz Bissinger said they feared it would be a spectacle and that the show would damage Jenner's legacy.
