The Big Ten Network has inked a carriage deal with Cablevision, giving the channel a foothold in the New York DMA.
Per terms of the agreement, Cablevision will offer Big Ten Net to subs as part of its iO TV Sports Pak, which retails for $5.95 per month. The channel will be available in standard definition and hi-def.
Financials were not disclosed.
Starting today (June 23), Cablevision will begin making Big Ten Net available to its digital subscribers in Brooklyn and The Bronx, with plans to flip the switch in its Long Island footprint on June 25.
