CNET’s business-themed BNET.com has rolled out a weekly audio segment called BNET Minute to a handful of prominent CBS Radio News affiliates across the U.S.
CBS officials said that BNET Minute, which debuted in late November, in the past week began airing on affiliate stations in Chicago, Miami, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Philadelphia and Detroit.
The five-minute segments are produced and hosted by the editors of BNET, a service-oriented content site geared for business managers launched by CNET back in 2007. CBS acquired CNET back in May for $1.8 billion.
Covering such topics as “How to become a better negotiator,” BNET Minute segments feature a mix of interviews with professionals from various industries, as well as business-book authors and analysts. Most segments are based on original editorial pieces produced for BNET.com.
