The original programs that cable’s TNT and USA produce have led both networks to consistent success. And they keep expanding their slates.
On Jan. 20, USA launches its quirky take on lawyers with Fairly Legal. This summer, TNT premieres the legal bro-mance Franklin & Bash; and its much-anticipated alien invasion series Falling Skies, executive produced by Steven Spielberg (who also exec produced Fox’s Terra Nova).
In the second installment of Adweek’s Television Critics Association cable roundup, Marc Berman and Alan Frutkin discuss the standings and program strategies of TNT and USA.
