That needle scratch you hear is A&E pulling new reality show Breaking Boston off its prime-time lineup after just one airing—the show debuted to an anemic 313,000 total viewers (suggesting a very low demo viewership) on March 13, and it’s no longer on the schedule.

As a replacement strategy, A&E tonight will air a repeat of The First 48 in the 10-11 p.m. time slot.

This is the second time in as many weeks that A&E rejiggered its prime-time schedule around a prominent property during the show’s run.
