ABC News and ESPN's Jesse Palmer is all over the place lately. The special contributor to Good Morning America will also play a key role in ESPN's college football coverage this season. While playing for the New York Giants, an offseason internship program for NFL players resulted in Palmer's first chance to call an Arena League Football game on the radio. A Fox executive noticed, and his career path quickly changed.
The former NFL quarterback isn't your typical jock-turned-broadcaster. Palmer is passionate about food, travel, fashion and politics in addition to being able to provide unique insights within the college football landscape. He didn't plan on a career in television and never even studied it in college.
