The Priceline Group has agreed to purchase restaurant digital bookings company OpenTable for $2.6 billion.
In recent years, Groupon's been teaming up with 100,000 deals and coupon bloggers to run commission-based ads on their sites. Today, the Chicago-based company announced Groupon Partner Network (GPN), a self-serve affiliate marketing platform for bloggers and other publishers that want to make cash pitching deals to their readers.
Facebook has integrated OpenTable's restaurant booking service into its mobile app. Additionally, the social behemoth has forged an agreement with digital entertainment firm Rovi to let on-the-go users find listings such as TV programs and movies.
