Joe Paterno Creativity Pennsylvania Billboards Still Whining About Joe Paterno One irritating thing about modern advertising is that every horrible opinion has a billboard espousing it. The most recent proof of this comes from Pennsylvania, where a group calling itself PS4truth put up a bunch of electronic billboards defending former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. The billboards flash messages that criticize the Penn State trustees, the NCAA, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, the media, and anyone else who dared to besmirch the name of Penn State football. Because that's what this is really about, in the end. PS4truth can argue semantics all they want, but they don't care about any of those kids who got molested, or their families, or the culture of abuse and secrecy that empowered Jerry Sandusky's 13-year streak of rampant chicken hawking. If they did, they'd have more to say beyond shallow appeals to Paterno's win/loss record and his "contributions to the university." At least pro wrestling fans have enough dignity to feel ashamed whenever their heroes fall from grace.
