It's been a good year for Havas Media, and the company is rounding out 2016 with another new business win as TD Bank's media agency of record. Havas Media will handle all media for the brand across print, video, digital, mobile and social marketing. The agency will also head up analytics for the brand.
TracFone, which is launching a more aggressive push into the U.S. mobile market, has picked Havas Media Group as agency of record to help build the profile of the prepaid service provider, sources said. The Miami-based company awarded its media planning and buying business to Havas after a review that came down to finalists like incumbent Mediavest, Horizon and UM.

Sears Holdings has contacted ad holding companies about handling all marketing communications for Sears and Kmart, sources said. Collectively, those brands spent $560 million in media last year—the majority of which ($350 million) went toward Sears, according to Kantar Media. Kmart's spending totaled $210 million.

OppenheimerFunds is looking for a new lead creative agency. The company has hired Ark Advisors in New York to manage the search, which is expected to conclude in the fall. Past media spending has ranged between $15 million and 20 million a year.
