Comedy Central Orders 3 More Seasons of Tosh.0

Comedy Central has re-upped its biggest ongoing series through 2016. The Viacom network said today that it would purchase three more seasons of Tosh.0, with the popular series' just-inked sixth season to premiere on Feb. 18.

Cops Ousted by Fox After 25 Seasons, Moves to Spike TV

Cops, the great-granddaddy of the contemporary reality show, finally got its walking papers from the Fox broadcast network after 25 seasons, only to get picked up immediately by male-centric cable network Spike TV. The show has been on the air constantly since 1989 and remains ubiquitous in syndication on TruTV, G4 and several other outlets abroad.

Bad news, everyone: Comedy Central has decided not to order another season of Matt Groening’s Futurama, thus canceling the animated sci-fi comedy after 140 episodes. Set to return on June 19 for a 13-episode run, the offbeat series officially ceases transmission on Sept. 4.
