Thai Life Insurance Brings Us to Tears Again with Its Latest Heart-Wrenching Spot

Get out your tissues. Thai Life Insurance has just released its latest heart-wrenching spot, a 5-minute short film about overcoming adversity and the bravery of doing right by others.

Opportunity” follows the story of a middle-aged women seen through two contrasting perspectives: privileged and underprivileged. The film opens by posing a question: “How do you think opportunities arise?” First, she appears to be a smartly dressed, self-made woman. But as the film goes on we learn the real path our hero has taken to create her own opportunities in life. And it is a tale of sadness and letting things go to see newer things.

Over the past several years, working with its agency Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok, it has produced a series of viral short films that tug at heartstrings and open the tear ducts of viewers. “Unsung Hero” was an insanely viral hit in 2014, garnering 28.9 million YouTube views. “Silence of Love,” “Street Concert” and “Follow the Father” have also all seen tremendous global  success.
