Zynga has revealed its Q4 2015 earnings, which saw the mobile and social game company generate $186 million in revenue for the quarter. This is a decrease of five percent from Q3 2015, and a decrease of four percent when compared to Q4 2014. Bookings were $182 million for the quarter, up three percent quarter-over-quarter.

When looking at the entirety of 2015, Zynga ended the year with $700 million in reported bookings, which is an increase of one percent year-over-year.

In a statement, Mark Pincus, CEO and founder of Zynga, commented:

In terms of our financial scorecard, for 2015, we made good progress in our transition to mobile on a bookings level but, due to the lack of significant new releases, we saw an overall decline in our audience. While our total bookings grew one percent, our core live mobile franchises—Slots, Words With Friends and Poker—were up 63 percent and all of mobile grew 35 percent.

We ended the year with mobile now representing 73 percent of total bookings up from 60 percent in Q4 2014. We saw our Web business continue to decline with bookings down 32 percent and audience down 53 percent. Overall for the year, we managed to support a relatively large slate of new game development and user acquisition while remaining profitable.

In addition to its earnings, Zynga announced its recent acquisition of Zindagi Games, the mobile developer behind match-three games Crazy Kitchen and Disney’s Dream Treats. Zynga plans to launch a new match-three title from Zindagi in the first half of 2016 called Crazy Cake Swap. The game is one of ten titles Zynga expects to release this year.

Four of the 10 games will be in the company’s social casino category: Spin it Rich!, Willy Wonka Slots (announced last year), True Vegas and Vegas Diamond Slots. In addition, a second match-three title is in the works, featuring the Wizard of Oz license.

As for simulation games, Zynga said it plans to launch a sequel to FarmVille 2: Country Escape, as well as CityVille Mobile, in the second half of 2016. Finally, Zynga’s previously announced racing game CSR2 and action strategy game Dawn of Titans are also expected to release in the second half of the year.
