Zynga reaches $1 million in total donations for Water.org

Zynga has announced a huge milestone in its work for charities. For a period of two weeks, Zynga and Water.org collected charity donations in the form of poker winnings in Zynga’s social poker game Zynga Poker. The recent campaign saw users giving a portion of their in-game winnings to a “Water.org Helping Hands” charity pot, with two trillion chips being turned into $100,000 in donations.

This latest campaign takes Zynga’s total contributions to Water.org to over $1 million, with its partnership seeing multiple campaigns running throughout Zynga’s titles since 2010.
