Zynga Launches Princess Bride Slots on Mobile

Social and mobile game company Zynga has announced the release of Princess Bride Slots on mobile. The slot machine game is based on the popular novel and film The Princess Bride, and was designed by the team behind Wizard of Oz Slots. Princess Bride Slots features a level-based progression system, which sees players unlock new slot machines as they level up. Players earn experience points with each spin, with larger bets resulting in more experience points earned per spin. Players can turn on auto-spin for easier play, and will unlock higher maximum bet amounts as they level up. While the game rewards users with free bonus credits over time, players can also purchase additional credits with real money. The game’s slot machines represent different chapters in the book, and feature things like the Fire Swamp and Prince Humperdinck’s Castle, as examples. The game also includes voice clips, film footage and sounds from the film. While 10 main slot machines are available at launch, additional slots machines are marked as ‘coming soon.’ In addition, a separate VIP World offers exclusive slot machines (one at launch), which become available as players reach specific VIP levels. Players need VIP Points to unlock these VIP Levels, and can earn VIP Points by earning experience points and leveling up, or by purchasing credits with real money. On top of having access to exclusive slot machines, VIP players earn a better daily bonus each day they play the game, and will have access to special events, among other benefits. In a statement, Joe Kaminkow, Zynga's chief game designer and senior vice president of slots, commented: We are excited to bring our players and Princess Bride fans around the world a fun, free way to engage with one of their all-time favorite movies. From classic quotes to original cinema footage featuring Buttercup, Westley and other beloved characters, Princess Bride Slots captures the wit and whimsy of the timeless film, giving fans a unique way to experience the movie magic all over again while playing their favorite casino game. Princess Bride Slots is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. The game is also available to play for free on Facebook.
