Zynga announces mobile-first initiative for three popular franchises

After a difficult 2013, Zynga has announced a new “mobile-first” initiative for some of its top franchises: FarmVille, Poker and Words with Friends. This move will see three new experiences come to mobile gamers, which have been designed using the feedback players have shared with Zynga over the past six years.

The first is FarmVille 2: Country Escape, which will offer both online and offline play. The game looks to “redefine” the FarmVille social experience by offering “Social Control options that give you more choice on how you connect with friends and family.”
