YouTube Videos Can Keep Earning Revenue During Content ID Disputes

YouTube announced in April that it was developing a solution to enable videos to continue to earn revenue during disputes of Content ID claims, and that solution arrived Tuesday.
Content ID product manager David Rosenstein announced in a blog post that all content creators in the YouTube Partner Program can now take advantage of the solution, which works as follows: Ads will continue to be run against videos, and YouTube will hold funds from those ads separately until the Content ID dispute is resolved.
