YouTube has hit yet another milestone, with the announcement that they have officially passed the 1 billion subscriptions mark and, to celebrate, they have launched a brand-spankin’ new subscription button widget for bloggers and site owners.

YouTube first introduced the yellow subscribe button to YouTube channel pages back in 2006. Since then, YouTubers have asked users to subscribe via annotations, in description links and linked to their subscription page from their blogs and websites.
