YouTube Celebrates The Holidays With 3.5 Billion Daily Views
Back in May, YouTube announced that they were serving a whopping 3 billion views per day with users uploading over 48 hours of video footage per minute. The world was blown away by this big statistic, but in the last six months YouTube’s numbers have become even more impressive. YouTube now boasts over 3.5 billion daily views!

Ryan Lawler of GigaOM’s NewTeeVee reported last week that the new 3.5 billion daily views statistic was announced as part of a presentation given by YouTube VP of global sales Lucas Watson at the Monaco Media Forum, on the direction that YouTube is headed.
Watson says, “YouTube is all of 6 and a half years old.
