Jackbox Games has announced an exciting update for You Don’t Know Jack players on Facebook and mobile, as the game has transitioned into an unlimited free daily play format. This includes access to all current and new episodes on Facebook, iOS, Google Play and Kindle.

Previously, You Don’t Know Jack would limit the amount of episodes gamers could complete for free each day. Now, all five-question episodes, all specially themed episodes and all 17 of the celebrity guest episodes are available for free, without the need for Tokens to unlock them.

In each episode, players answer trivia questions to earn points in a game show format.

You Don’t Know Jack will remain ad supported, and players will have the option of purchasing the Royale upgrade for $2.99. This removes the ads, while also providing players with in-game currency and a starter pack of “Enhancer” power-ups.

Development of new episodes will continue, and all future episodes will also be free-to-play.

“Bringing the You Don’t Know Jack trivia franchise to social and mobile platforms has been an exciting time and we’ve learned a great deal from the 4.5 million players who’ve downloaded our apps,” said Mike Bilder, GM Jackbox Games, in a company statement.

“Among our biggest takeaways is that we have a core group of loyal fans who really prefer to play episodically and, when they do play, they engage in much longer gaming sessions than your typical mobile app. With this title update and with more than 300 regular, themed, and celebrity guest episodes already in the app – with more on the way – we’re ready to support fans’ desire to play the way they want.”

You Don’t Know Jack is available for free on Facebook, iOS, Google Play and Kindle. You can track the app on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
