The popular interactive trivia game You Don’t Know Jack is now available to download for free from the iTunes App Store for iPod, iPhone and iPad.

You Don’t Know Jack from Jellyvision is a long-running and popular series of comedy quiz games that originally launched back in 1995, the dawn of the “CD-ROM” era of home computers.

It made a very successful comeback on Facebook six months ago, a platform that complimented the game’s original formula by engaging players with questions on current pop culture and news players are discussing on their walls, tying gameplay into the social experience.

The mobile version of You Don’t Know Jack builds upon the success of the Facebook version. Players who download the mobile version can choose to play in guest mode or via Facebook connect, which will give them access to “party-style” game mode. Players who connect the mobile version to Facebook can also be matched against their friends, have the ability to challenge them at the end of every episode and share results across iOS and Facebook.

Inside Social Games published a very favorable review of the Facebook version of You Don’t Know Jack back in May which you can find here. Spike TV’s Video Game Awards also crowned You Don’t Know Jack as 2012 social game of the year. Look forward for our review of this new mobile edition soon.
