Yahoo Has Released a New Weather App for Android
Yahoo has updated its weather app for Android making it more competitive with other weather apps available on the market.
The update came out of a four day hackathon. The previous version of the app showed a four day forecast, along with current temperatures and the day’s highs and lows. The update adds forecasting for 5 or 10 day forecast, as well as hour-by-hour predictions for the current 24 hour period. These new features essentially catch Yahoo up with competing weather apps from Weather.com
