Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer announced in an internal memo that IntoNow founder and CEO Adam Cahan will be overseeing Yahoo’s mobile efforts and the operations of its photo sharing service, Flickr, according to a report by AllThingsD.

The memo reads, “[Cahan] will oversee our mobile efforts, enabled screens (CTV+IntoNow), and Flickr. Adam will be responsible for building a world-class team focused on creating innovative products and experiences that inspire and delight our users worldwide.”

Read: Yahoo! will be hiring soon. Cahan’s official title is SVP of emerging products and technology, according to his LinkedIn profile.

IntoNow created technology for consumers to instantly recognize television content based on signals from the audio track. The app was named one of TechCrunch’s top 20 iPhone and iPad apps in 2011, along with Spotify and Pinterest. Yahoo! had acquired the service earlier that year.

Adobe acquired Cahan’s other business, Auditude, in 2011 for $120 million.
