Would You Like Fries And Coke With That... FarmVille?

Zynga and McDonalds announced the launch of a branded McDonald’s farm in FarmVille recently that rewards users with rewards for interaction. This is a unique and first of its kind social marketing campaign being led by appssavvy, a direct sales and marketing services team that provides brands and agencies a platform for running engaging social advertising campaigns, in partnership with OMD. FarmVille’s deal with McDonald’s represents the first branded farm deal. It’s a one day event in which players will see the McDonald’s Farm as a ‘Neighbor Farm’, letting players visit it and interact with it in ways such as helping grow its tomato and mustard seed crops.
