Social recruiting company Work4 Labs has raised $11 million from Matrix Partners and other investors, the company announced today. The startup has also released a free Facebook tool for small and mid-sized businesses. Whether it can convince the general public to look for a job on Facebook remains to be seen.

Social recruiting company Work4 Labs has raised $11 million from Matrix Partners and other investors, the company announced today.  The startup has also released a free Facebook tool for small and mid-sized businesses. Whether it can convince the general public to look for a job on Facebook remains to be seen.

Like other Facebook-integrated tools including BranchOut and Identified, Work4Labs addresses the problem of helping recruiters fill those jobs that just don’t belong on a professional network like LinkedIn.
