WinZip Now Available in Google Play
WinZip, the big name in zip utilities, has just released their first Android app.
It’s definitely a work in progress, and in fact the app cannot create archives. Currently the app can can open ZIP archives. It also has a built in viewer for a numbr of common formats, including images, most text files, and even some Office document formats (DOC, PPT, PDF). The list of complete format support is at the end of the post.
This app is getting a fair amount of attention on the various Android blogs, though I’m not sure why.
