The Winklevoss Twins Take Another Shot At Zuckerberg…In A Pistachio Ad?

By Megan O'Neill

The latest viral ad for Wonderful Pistachios stars the Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, and they’re not just promoting pistachios—they’re also taking a not-so-subtle jab at Mark Zuckerberg.

The Wonderful Pistachios YouTube campaign asks celebrities and weblebrities, from Snookie to Keyboard Cat and Angry Birds, how they crack a pistachio. “The Winklevoss Twins do it cautiously,” because they wouldn’t want anyone to steal their pistachio-cracking method, of course!

The Winklevoss Twins won a $65 million settlement against Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg when they claimed that Zuckerberg had stolen the idea for Facebook.  They have been involved in back and forth lawsuits and appeals for years now, and it’s nice to see that they can finally laugh about the situation, even if it’s just for an 0:18 second commercial spot for Wonderful Pistachios.

Check out the Winklevii and their pistachio-cracking action below.  What do you think?  Is it funny, sad or just plain ridiculous?
