Will Amazon Carry iPads?

After spending so much money and energy making fun of iPads, it appears that Amazon may start selling them.Yesterday, 9to5mac.com reported that iPads were for sale through Amazon.Here is more from the blog:

“Target isn’t the only new seller of the iPad this weekend.  Amazon gets the iPad as well and sells them for the same price as Apple.  Amazon, however doesn’t charge any tax in most states and offers free shipping as well.”

We just searched Amazon and it appears that as of 11:30 am ET on October 6th, you can only buy an iPad on Amazon through a third party sellers, as in the image above.
