If you are wondering what is it that everyone is doing with their phones an answer is provided by Dwight Silverman in a blog post about how texting is replacing talking on mobile phones. Silverman cites a study done by Neilsen for the Wall Street Journal that reports adults are receiving 25% less mobile phone calls now than three years ago, whereas adults from ages 45 to 54 are receiving 75% more text messages than a year ago.
