The developers behind dating-related Facebook application Who’s Single? mined data from more than 40,000 Facebook users, primarily in Australia, to present an interesting look at relationship statuses.
The app has more than 100 users, and the developers used data from them and their friends to arrive at the following conclusions:
- 65 percent of Facebook users display their relationship statuses publicly — 72 percent of men and 53 percent of women.
- 23 percent of those who publicly displayed their relationship statuses are single.
