WhatsApp Tests Voice Calling?
Messaging application WhatsApp appears to be testing a voice-calling feature on its Android app
Messaging application WhatsApp appears to be testing a voice-calling feature on its Android app, with TechCrunch sharing screenshots that were originally posted to Reddit by user Pradnesh Patil, as well as a YouTube video (embedded below).
According to TechCrunch, Patil first discovered the feature when a fellow WhatsApp user who had access to it used it to call him, and functionality appears to include a speakerphone setting, a mute button and the ability to send messages while on a call.
