Facebook is beginning to alert users about the new look for News Feed with an announcement appearing at the top of their News Feeds.
The social network announced the redesigned News Feed last week, saying that it will roll out to users “in the coming weeks.”
The following announcement is beginning to appear atop users’ News Feeds:
We’re Updating Our Look
Lately, you’ve seen a different style for News Feed. We’ve been listening to feedback about it, and in a few days, you’ll see an update to our look. We’re keeping the parts that people liked best: bigger stories and a streamlined design Learn More.
Clicking on “Learn More” takes users to a page in Facebook’s Help Center, which reads:
Why does my News Feed look different?
Facebook is rolling out a new design based on feedback we’ve gotten. We’re using elements people like, including larger stories and a new font, and brought them to the updated design.
You can no longer switch the look of your News Feed. Soon everyone on Facebook will have the same News Feed design.
