wePapers Aims for the Largest Study Group Ever

Years removed from my education, I often wonder how the Internet and its bevy of study tools would have affected my grades. Could it have been the difference between a C+ and a B-? I guess we’ll never know.

Launching this week is wePapers, a Web site that operates like an online study group. People from around the world can congregate to share class notes, discuss study guides and download term papers. The free online database offers three core reasons to register:– organize and manage your papers
– read and download class notes and articles
– connect with others, get help and feedback

By all accounts, the site operates similarly to DocStoc and Scribd, with the emphasis on embeddable content.

Papers can be located several ways; via search, tag cloud, category, or by college/university.
