WeMade Entertainment sees 90 percent increase in annual revenue thanks to mobile games

Online and mobile games publisher WeMade Entertainment has announced a 90 percent increase in revenue for 2013, as revenues from its mobile games have increased more than 1,000 percent since 2012. The Seoul, Korea based company, along with its North American subsidiary WeMade Entertainment USA, recorded revenue of $208 million (KRW 227.4 billion) in 2013.

WeMade recorded revenue of $43 million (KRW 47 billion) in Q4 2013, up 35 percent year-over-year. The company released more than 20 games across Korea, Japan, North America and China in 2013, generating $129 million (KRW 140.8
