Weekly Dose Of WTF – Freaky Grandma, Justin Bieber & The Rapture

By Megan O'Neill Comment

We’re halfway through the workweek, which means it’s time for our Weekly Dose Of WTF.  This week we’ve got some really freaky, strange and weird videos for you, including Justin Bieber’s new perfume ad, a girl’s very creepy message to her future grandchild, some eyebrow-raising Greek talent, a rap about telephone manners and the Rapture, or lack thereof.  Prepare to be WTF-ified!

The Official Someday By Justin Bieber Commercial

Justin Bieber’s new Someday perfume commercial has got everyone talking this morning.  In the clip, which hit YouTube on May 23, Bieber flies around and sniffs a girl.  I’m not really sure what’s going on here…does this make girls actually want to buy this perfume?  Judging from the fact that the video currently has more dislikes than likes, I’d say probably not.

I Am Your Grandma

OK.  This video just may win the award for creepiest video of all time.  This girl has created a video message to her future unborn grandchild.  “One day I’m gonna have a baby, and you will call her mom.  That baby will have a baby and you will have this song to know that I am your grandma.”  Can you imagine how it would make you feel to see a video like this, knowing it was your grandma?  Ooh, chills!

Greece’s Got Talent – Playing the piano with no hands

Um, is this talent really appropriate for television?  Hey look ma!  No hands!  (The performance starts shortly after the 1:15 minute mark).

May 21 Rapture: Apocalypse WOW!

Although the Rapture was supposed to happen over the weekend, on May 21, this NMA animated video didn’t really start taking off until Monday.  It’s a good thing the Rapture didn’t happen, or nobody would have gotten to see this hilariously entertaining explanation about the supposed end of the world.

Telephone Manners For Kids!

Hmm…who thought this was a good idea?  I wonder what these two girls are up to today.  It would be cool if they could update their telephone manners rap with do a social media etiquette rap.  Any leads?  Let us know in the comments.
