Waterstone’s is Selling Off Sony Reader Touch Edition Demo Units
A few weeks back I posted about the disappearance and apparent cancellation of Sony’s 6″ eReader, the Touch Edition. My story was roundly denied by Sony, but it looks like I might be right.
There’s a report over on MobileRead that Waterstone’s, an UK bookstore chain, is now selling off its Touch Edition display units on eBay. If this is true then it is a sign that something has happened to the Touch Edition. Stores do not sell of display units unless they know for sure that they will never sell the gadget again.
