Facebook Denies Involvement in Termination of Coffee Shop’s Lease in NYC HQ Building

Facebook denied any involvement in the decision by Vornado Realty Trust to terminate its lease with a family-run coffee shop and newsstand in the lobby of 770 Broadway, the building that houses its New York offices, according to the New York Post.

The Post reported that the Headline News coffee stand — which was run by Pete Patel and two family members — will be replaced by the more high-end Bluestone Lane, adding that Vornado informed Patel of the lease termination six months ago.
