Watch: Virginia Auto Store Commercial Catches Yesterday’s Earthquake On Tape

Yesterday the general manager at G&C Tire & Auto in Chantilly, VA, David, was busy recording a new commercial when the 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck and it was all caught on tape.

There hasn’t been much video of the quake posted to YouTube, as it didn’t last long enough for most people to get their cameras out, but the G&C team in Chantilly got the entire thing on tape, and I’ve got a feeling that David may be feeling a little bit embarrassed because he didn’t head for a doorway or go under a table—he hid behind a chair!  Actually, I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he lost his balance and simply fell behind that chair.
