This Apple ad from 1979, promoting personal computers, is turning out to be true. The ad says, “Apple will challenge your imagination for years to come. Thousands of uses from finance to fun and games.” This pretty much remains true today, expecially with yesterday’s Apple announcments.

As the personal computer did in its day, the iPad has really transformed how we imagine technology and continues to inspire other tablet makers to get into the business.

The iPad is even inspiring the personal computer.
