Stouffer’s understands that the way to a man’s heart (and, let’s face it, a woman’s heart too) is a nice warm meal, so they’re celebrating Valentine’s Day by driving around New York City and delivering Stouffer’s Mac N’ Cheese to folks that tweet at them about why they’re in need of some “local warming.”
Until 3:00pm today, NYC tweeters that tweet to @stouffers and tell them why they deserve a nice warm bowl of cheesy goodness, using the hashtag #localwarming, could get lucky this Valentine’s Day and get a visit from the Stouffer’s Mac N’ Cheese Truck.
The Stouffer’s Mac N’ Cheese truck started delivering at 10am this morning and a spokesperson told me that they’re are aiming to serve around 400 people today. If you’re in NYC and want some Mac, now is the time to tweet–#localwarming tweets are just beginning to trickle in right now so you’re more likely to be noticed.
Mac N’ Cheese lovers are tweeting all sorts of reasons for wanting a warm meal. @Ebabeinoz says, “I met my husband online and I made sure on day 1 that he knew I DON’T COOK. He fell in love with my anyways.” @Bless_Eliz says, “Best valentine’s day was when the storm killed our plans but we had 2 stouffer meals for dinner and cuddled!”
Check out the picture of some happy Stouffer’s customers below and let us know, if you are in NYC, whether you’ll be tweeting for some Mac N’ Cheese and why you think you deserve it!
