Streaming-video provider Ustream released an update to its Broadcast for Friends iPhone application that allows page administrators to record and broadcast live video on their pages.
According to TechCrunch, the update to Broadcast for Friends also added deeper integration with Facebook’s open graph, enabling greater visibility of shared videos on Facebook, as well as support for lower-bit-rate connections.
Broadcast for Friends also offers features including location, and different filters, such as Maltese (saturated black and white), Vendetta (prominent reds), and Valentino (a silent film look), and Ustream said an Android app will be available soon.
