Social Networking Apps More Popular Than Games, Music for UK Millennials [STUDY]

85 percent of women and 72 percent of men aged 16-24 in the United Kingdom actively use social media apps on their mobile devices, reveals a new study.

Social networking finished in clear place in the poll amongst all respondents, with 81 percent of both genders using those apps, ahead of games (70 percent) and music (56 percent). The survey, which was conducted by Voxburner, discovered that reference, business and (perhaps ironically) productivity apps were amongst the least popular.
