One In Five UK Small Businesses Now Use Twitter [STUDY]

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the United Kingdom have doubled their marketing and advertising budgets in the past two years, with a sizeable chunk of that spend going towards social media, reveals new research from BIA/Kelsey.

Indeed, Facebook remains the top marketing channel used by SMBs, with 41.3 percent of respondents to BIA/Kelsey’s survey using the platform, up from 35.1 percent in 2011.
