A doctor in England diagnosed a boy with leukemia from a photo his dad posted on Facebook.

No joke – after Philip Rice posted on the social network a photo of his son, Ted, the doctor and family friend saw the image and recognized the boy’s rash as a symptom of leukemia.

He sent a message to Philip saying he should take his son to the hospital immediately. The boy is now going through a three-year-course of chemotherapy.

Philip and his wife were told their son has a 75 percent chance of surviving.
