Twitter Experiment: Video Sharing Via Hashtag
Twitter is apparently experimenting with a new feature that would allow users to share a video clip without linking to or uploading the video – all they have to do is type a hashtag.
Discovered by Recode, this new experimental feature can be seen in action on the Twitter iPhone app. By typing in a specific hashtag, users can automatically embed a video in their tweet.
The hashtag “#amillionwaystodieinthewest” is the first apparent trial run for this new feature.
