Best Image Of The Day From The #TwitterIPO [PHOTO]
Twitter’s IPO got off to a great, if slightly delayed start at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) this morning. Priced at $26, the market opened at $45.10 (a 73 percent pop!) amidst very heavy stock volume.
Curiously, Patrick Stewart was in attendance when the NYSE opening bell was rung, but that’s not the photo I want you to see. Go ahead and click to enlarge.
As you would have hoped, Twitter founders Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams and Biz Stone were all in attendance, alongside CEO Dick Costolo, and this photo from @NYSEcam really captured the scene.
