Netflix Testing ‘Tweet Me a Reminder’ Button on Twitter

Twitter is famous for carrying out little experiments on its own platform, some of which go on to become core features. Now, it’s Netflix that’s trying something out on Twitter, and it might be showing up in your timeline soon.

On December 12th Netflix is launching Marco Polo, “an epic adventure that follows the early years of the famous explorer as he travels the exotic Silk Road to the great Kublai Khan’s court.” To help promote the new show (and make sure that you don’t forget to watch it) Netflix is using a Twitter card that comes with a “Tweet Me a Reminder” button.

Here’s how it looks:

Click on the button and you’ll be promoted to tweet out your support for the show.
