Sure you do. If you’ve been active on Twitter for a few years, the Fail Whale was a regular feature. Sure, he was cute, but as he only appeared when Twitter was having problems he was essentially an unwelcome guest.

I can’t remember the last time the whale made an appearance, but it seems like forever. Which, while good for Twitter, is kind of a shame: part of me misses those exciting days of yore.
