Twitter's 'Favorite' Button Could Be Called 'Star' Or Even 'Like' In The Future

Do you hit the “Favorite” button when someone tweets something profound? It’s a useful way to save tweets – which are notorious for disappearing from most timelines a few seconds after they’re sent – and read them or click on their link at a later time.

However, if you’re already a fan of the “Favorite” you might want to brace yourself: Twitter is apparently testing terminology like “Like” and “Star” instead.

The Next Web reported last night that some Twitter users have experienced the change in terminology, but that it’s nowhere near being rolled out on the entire network yet.
